How much does it cost to charter a yacht in Cartagena?

It depends on the vessel, group size, date and the details you choose. Message us on WhatsApp or email with your date and we send a complete written quote, with photos and videos of the boat.

Is it safe to rent a boat in Cartagena? How do I verify the operator?

Look for the Selección YatesNuevos seal: it means we reviewed its documents and they are in order (registration, licensed operator, captain, insurance and capacity). Operation means terms confirmed with the owner; Directory is reference information, not verified. Our verification page explains the five checks.

What is the difference between a boat and a yacht?

A yacht is enclosed, with a cabin and the look of a yacht; a boat (lancha) is open. What matters most is how many people fit: 6 to 20 on a boat and 8 to 20 on a yacht.

Private charter or shared tour: what's the difference?

On a private charter the boat is only for your group and the price is per boat. On a shared tour, like a sunset party boat, you pay per person and ride with other travelers. Every listing says which one it is.

Do you sell yachts and boats?

Yes. We sell new and used vessels under a brokerage contract, with registration, ownership and lien checks before signing. We also manage owners' boats.

What boat do I need for the Rosario Islands?

A vessel with at least two engines, as the Cartagena Port Authority requires.
